Inspirations from my little lady

I must say that Sunday was a fabulous day in the Harden house. Started off the morning at church then came home and let the creative juices flow. Bella and I set up an outdoor art studio under the big sweet gum tree in the front yard. We painted, worked on some sewing projects, and took pictures. I LOVE art time with my girlie!!!! Watching children create gives us a sense of effortless, free-spirited, open-minded imagination. It had been a while since I have painted anything and Bella and I worked on a few pieces together. It truly brought to life the importance of creating with our children. (That and it's just a messy good time!) The big question for the week......what will we come up with next???

Get out and CREATE~

The last few weeks feels like it has been a whirlwind! We made it through our first show with great reviews! "Woodstock" was very successful. We sold a few things, gained some new customers, contacts, and friends.

I have decided that this was only fuel added to my fire for creating. I actually didn't sew anything today and I feel surprisingly lost. I am sooooo ready for the next show! I am attaching some photos from the show and some of the fabulous goodies that were there. Many thanks to all of our family and friends that support our work. Much love to you all!

Have a Creative week!

Sew Happy

Growing up I was always a child who enjoyed being "crafty" I can remember countless times when I was sewing, painting, or just making random "works of art". As an adult I had gotten away from my creative side for quite awhile and I must say that having this outlet back is amazingly refreshing. I had honestly forgotten just how exciting it is to make something with your hands. It not only gives me greater appreciation for other artists but it makes a person feel good to recieve a hand-made gift. I encourage you all to shop locally and buy hand-made. It supports our communities and encourages others to do the same.

Here are a few goodies I have been working on......
