It finally happened

Well a few post's ago I had warned you all that the day would come when I would turn into one of those people who dress their pets in rediculous clothes......well all I can say is:

I'm guilty! I have now bought him 3 articles of clothing but this takes one wins the prize as most ridiculous! I found this baby in a bargin bin at Catholic Charities today. The truth is that this kind of shenanagins drives my husband crazy and makes him completly feel sorry for our little Eddy. (But we both know that Eddy enjoys rocking these kick a** sweaters) He knows he's got it going on! Until next time have a Happy Thanksgiving!

lovin me some tinsel!

After much dread about the upcoming holiday season (only dreading it because I normally have all of my shopping done by now and haven't bought one thing but) the mood finally struck! I woke up yesterday morning and decided that after church Sunday it was going to be time to deck the halls! My wonderful husband helped me drag everything out of storage and prepare for the afternoon ahead.

As I opened up one of my Christmas storage boxes I found all of this awesome glittery goodness that I had forgotten that I purchased at the end of the season last year. It was like an early Christmas present! I also have a love of vintage glass ornaments that began when I was given some very old ornaments that were always on my great-grandparents tree. I have been stocking up on them any chance I get (Oh how I love, love, love my shiny-brights).

I have decided that this is my most favorite tree of all time in the Harden house. With vintage, glitter, and best of all TINSEL I must say that I find it to be positively FABULOUS! (I have to mention that Jerrod HATES tinsel but is continually a good sport year after year....I think he knows he won't win that battle).

Now about my all time favorite vintage Christmas purchase......I found this incredible old Santa face at a recent show that I went to! He is in perfect condition feathers and all! Oh how I love him!

It was a fantastic day at the Harden house. I love that you can tell where Bella put ornaments. They tend to all be gathered around the same location at the bottom of the tree and multiple ornaments to a branch. She is going to be a fab decorator one of these days!
Happy Decorating!
